Hey, found your blog, can't remember how, maybe through Jennifer Hager's, but anyhow...
I like your work a lot, you hve some really strong draughtsmanship in your drawings.
This piece is fun, I like that you posted your key poses as well as the clip. I love watching pencil tests.
If you don't mind a little crit...Feels like the limbs get twinny thru the last half, maybe you could break up the timing on the feet a little? That's the kind of stuff that's much easier in CG (my field), but it'd really liven up that second half, I think.
Anyhow, keep posting. I've had you bookmarked for a while, just forgot to comment and say hello. Feel free to check out my blog and crit my stuff as well. Goodness knows my drawings need work.
Heidi you updated! And I discovered it pretty fast. That's awesome you put up the drawings as well as the test. I like the drawings a lot. (and the test, but I've told you that a million times.) That's pretty lame it cut off the end. My solution would be to create a new version that has like an extra 12 frames on the end, so youtube eats those instead of your test.
I just found your blog through the Google Reader because I am also Heidi Jo and I was looking for myself! I went to college in Santa Clarita and came across Heidi Jo Ln. too! So crazy!! : )
Awesome! We've got some King Louis up in our department, and I always marvel at the draftsmanship. Makes me proud to see a fellow CalArtian knock that character out of the park!
